How do we get started?

Request an introductory conversation or call the office. Tell us the type of help you need, any important timing, and who should be involved. We will then discuss scope and the information needed to prepare a proposal.

Do you work with both businesses and individuals?

Yes. Our services include business accounting and advisory, tax preparation and planning for individuals and businesses, and support for trusts and nonprofit organizations. The engagement is tailored to your needs.

How are your fees determined?

Fees depend on the scope, complexity, condition of the records, and services required. We discuss responsibilities and pricing before work begins. Recurring services can be organized into a clearly defined engagement.

Can you work with our existing bookkeeper or accounting team?

Yes. An engagement can be structured to complement your internal team, address a specific reporting need, or provide ongoing accounting and financial leadership support.

Do I need an audit, review, compilation, or another reporting service?

The appropriate engagement depends on the purpose of the financial statements and what a lender, owner, or other stakeholder requires. Share the actual request with us so we can discuss the appropriate service before work begins.

How should I send tax returns and confidential records?

Use the secure link provided by the firm for your engagement. Do not submit Social Security numbers, tax returns, account credentials, or financial documents through the general contact form or an ordinary website message.

What should I do if I receive a tax notice?

Contact the office promptly and provide the complete notice through the approved secure channel. Tell us the response deadline. We will discuss the notice and whether a representation engagement is needed.

Can we meet remotely?

Tell us your meeting preference when you request a consultation. We can discuss a remote meeting or an appointment at our Woodland Hills office.

Can you help with commercial property CAM calculations?

Yes. We can discuss a project involving lease-based expense allocations, operating expense reconciliations, and recovery schedules. The executed leases and supporting property records are the starting point.
